In celebration of Historic Preservation Month, the Reitz Home Museum is offering tours free of charge.  There will be guided tours of the 1871 mansion’s first floor rooms. Tours will begin in the Carriage House.

Description:

Reitz Home Museum Lecture Series presents Matt Rowe, Director of the Reitz Home Museum & Chair of the City of Evansville Historic Preservation Commission.  Matt will lead the audience through a virtual tour of his neighborhood, Evansville’s Riverside Historic District. He will discuss the characteristics of various styles of nineteenth-century residential architecture, using examples from the downtown Evansville neighborhood where he lives and works.
