Day of Your Visit

Upon arrival, we ask that a teacher, chaperone, or group leader come to the Carriage House to make payment and notify staff of the group's arrival.

Students should remain on their bus or, weather permitting, line up on the sidewalk in front of the Reitz Home Museum on First Street.

After payment has been made and the staff has been notified, the group will be asked to enter the Reitz Home through the First Street entrance.

Please put payment in an envelope and label the outside with the school name, the total amount enclosed, the number of students, and the number of adults.

Additional Guidelines

  • Limit of one adult for each group of 12 students
  • Maximum of 48 people in the museum at one time
  • Please do not touch the furniture or the decorations
  • Do not lean on the walls
