Location

The Reitz Home Museum and Carriage House is located at the corner of First and Chestnut streets in Evansville, Indiana.

From I-164

  1. Proceed South on I-164
  2. At the US-41 exit, I-164 becomes Veterans Memorial Parkway. Continue on Veterans Memorial Parkway for 2.4 miles.
  3. Veterans Memorial Parkway becomes S.E. Riverside Drive. Continue on S.E. Riverside Drive for 0.2 miles.
  4. Turn right at Chestnut Street. Proceed 1 block.
  5. Take the first left onto S.E. First Street. Destination is on the right.

From the South

  1. From US-41 North, take the I-164 exit. Proceed 0.2 miles.
  2. Keep left at the fork to continue toward Veterans Memorial Parkway. Proceed 0.5 miles.
  3. Keep right at the fork. Follow signs for I-164. Proceed 0.6 miles.
  4. Keep left at the fork. Follow signs for Veterans Memorial Parkway and merge onto Veterans Memorial Parkway. Proceed 2.4 miles.
  5. Veterans Memorial Parkway becomes S.E. Riverside Drive. Continue on S.E. Riverside Drive for 0.2 miles.
  6. Turn right at Chestnut Street. Proceed one block.
  7. Take the first left onto S.E. First Street. Destination is on the right.

From the North (US-41)

  1. Proceed South on US-41.
  2. Take the exit toward East Lloyd Expressway. Proceed 0.3 miles.
  3. Turn right at East Lloyd Expressway. Proceed 1.9 miles.
  4. Turn left at South Fulton Avenue. Proceed 0.2 miles.
  5. Fulton Avenue becomes N.W. Riverside Drive. Continue for 0.8 miles.
  6. Turn left at Cherry Street. Proceed 423 feet (one block)
  7. Take the first left onto S.E. First Street. Proceed 436 feet (one block). Destination is on the right.
